TOPIC: BE GRATEFUL
TEXT: LUKE 17:11-18
Key Verse: "And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us" (Luke 17:13).
To be grateful, (show gratitude), is an attitude of being appreciative of the care, love and kindness received from others. God wants friends of Jesus to be grateful to Him always when He answers our prayers or does something special for us.
Ten lepers went to Jesus for healing, and He healed all of them; but only one of the ten lepers went back to thank Jesus.
You should be thankful for the help that others render to you. Such people include your parents, leaders, siblings, friends and other people.
Never take your parents' care for granted; be grateful for what they are providing for you. This will encourage them to do more. Make sure you form the habit of saying 'Thank you' after receiving things from people who care for you.
Prayer: Dear Lord, please give me a grateful heart.
