SINCERE MILK THURSDAY JULY 30, 2020TOPIC: BEWARE OF FALSE TEACHERS

SINCERE MILK THURSDAY JULY 30, 2020 TOPIC: BEWARE OF FALSE TEACHERS TEXT: EPHESIANS 4:14 Key Verse: "That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive" (Ephesians 4:14).      A Christian family, living peacefully in a community, were preparing for fellowship one evening when they heard a knock on their front door. The father opened the door and saw a man and his 10-year-old son standing outside.      He told them that they were on their way out, but the visitors pleaded for just five minutes. They started preaching and at a point, the man said, "Do you know there is no hell fire in the Bible?"      The father looked straight into the preacher's eyes and said, "Whether you believe it or not, there is hell." He quickly opened his Bible to Revelation 20:15 which states clearly that there is hell. ...

HIGHER EVERYDAY THURSDAY JULY 30, 2020 TOPIC: ROBE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

HIGHER EVERYDAY  THURSDAY JULY 30, 2020 TOPIC: ROBE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS TEXT:REVELATION 19:1-9 MEMORY VERSE: "And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints" (REVELATION 19:8).      Symbolisms and allegories are variously used in the Bible to provide a veiled description of a much loftier concept and/or person. In Revelation 19:6-8, an allegory presents "the marriage supper of the Lamb...and his wife," referring to our Lord Jesus Christ (the Lamb), who would ultimately be united with His Church (wife), the body of saints.      Thus, we have a clear interpretation of 'fine linen' - "righteousness of saints." The hymn writer echoed this theme in a stanza of his hymn, "Called Unto Holiness," thus: "Called unto holiness," children of Light, Walking with Jesus in garments of white; Raiment unsullied, nor tarnished with sin, God's Holy Sp...

DAILY MANNA THURSDAY JULY 30, 2020 TOPIC: DON'T HOLD BACK THE WAGES

DAILY MANNA THURSDAY JULY 30, 2020 TOPIC: DON'T HOLD BACK THE WAGES TEXT:LEVITICUS 19:1-13 KEY VERSE: "Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, neither rob him: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with thee all night until the morning" (LEVITICUS 19:13).      The story is told of a notable business tycoon in the habit of hiring contractors to work for him. At the onset, he paid 80% of the contract sum, with a promise to pay up the balance on satisfactory completion. Since the profit margin was always less than 20%, the contractor usually would have to borrow additional funds to complete the work.      On satisfactory completion, paying that balance became a problem. To assuage the contractor, more and more jobs were given to him. So, the 20% kept accumulating into millions of unpaid debts.      Attempts to get the money were usually rebuffed with the threat that the contractor should go to court. And since the judicial pro...

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: THURSDAY 30TH JULY 2020.THEME: WHO’S YOUR DADDY?

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: THURSDAY 30TH JULY 2020. THEME: WHO’S YOUR DADDY? MEMORISE: For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. 1 Corinthians 4:15  READ: 2 Kings 3:11-12 11 But Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the LORD, that we may enquire of the LORD by him? And one of the king of Israel's servants answered and said, Here is Elisha the son of Shaphat, which poured water on the hands of Elijah. 12 And Jehoshaphat said, The word of the LORD is with him. So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him. MESSAGE: These days, people just call anyone “Daddy” in the church, and not necessarily out of respect as it is done in the Yoruba culture. You need to be careful who you call your father; Apostle Paul told the church in Corinth that they have only one father but many instructors, as seen in our memory verse for today. ...

HIGHER EVERYDAY MONDAY JULY 27, 2020 TOPIC: LESSONS FROM THE LEPERS

HIGHER EVERYDAY MONDAY JULY 27, 2020 TOPIC: LESSONS FROM THE LEPERS TEXT:2 KINGS 7:8-16 MEMORY VERSE: "Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace...now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king’s household" (2 KINGS 7:9).      Leprosy, according to Webster's dictionary, is a chronic infectious disease caused by a myco-bacteria. Because of its infectious nature, lepers are usually kept away from living among people.      The lepers in our text did not have any better deal. They lived outside the gates of Samaria and were not to mix with fellow countrymen. Samaria at that time was under a siege by the Syrians. The result was severe famine in the city.      It was at this time that the lepers ventured into the Syrian camp and discovered abundant provision abandoned by the fleeing Syrian army. A perfect picture of God's mercy available for all unworthy sinners. Read T...

DAILY MANNAMONDAY JULY 27, 2020 TOPIC: EAT NO BLOOD!

DAILY MANNA MONDAY JULY 27, 2020 TOPIC: EAT NO BLOOD! TEXT: LEVITICUS 17:8-16 KEY VERSE: "Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood" (LEVITICUS 17:12).      The life of the flesh is in the blood. The text under consideration gives a divine directive as regards tampering with or trivialising the worth of any animal blood. The mosaic and post-mosaic scriptural injunctions were that no flesh should be eaten with its blood.      The blood of every animal slaughtered for meat were to be poured before the Lord. This is a mark of obedience and reverence to God who created these beasts and has the right to the life of everything He has made.Blood eating is a heathenish practice frowned at by God and forbidden for His children. It has been discovered that those who eat or drink blood stand the risk of contracting diseases and health problems including liver...

SINCERE MILKMONDAY JULY 27, 2020 TOPIC: DO NOT HIDE IT FROM GOD

SINCERE MILK MONDAY JULY 27, 2020 TOPIC: DO NOT HIDE IT FROM GOD TEXT: PSALM 32:1-5 Key Verse: "Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered" (Psalm 32:1).      You can never hide anything from God. You may cover your sins so that nobody will know, but you cannot hide it from God. Our God is everywhere at the same time. He is also our All-wise God; He knows everything.      If you are a sinner, the best thing you can do is to confess all your sins of lying, cheating, fighting, cursing and many other bad things you do to God. No one can hide anything from his/her Creator.      As you repent of your sins, ask God to forgive and wash you with the precious blood of Jesus; your name will be written in the Book of Life.       Praise God for saving you. Read your Bible, pray every day, and join other friends of Jesus to attend fellowship regularly. Prayer: God in heaven, help me to forsake every...

SINCERE MILK SUNDAY JULY 26, 2020 PUT YOUR TRUST IN GOD

SINCERE MILK SUNDAY JULY 26, 2020 PUT YOUR TRUST IN GOD BIBLE TEXT: PSALM 37:3-6 KEY VERSE: "Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass" (Psalm 37:5). There lived a small family of three - father mother and Jane, their only child, in a big city. Jane was a friend of Jesus. She loved God with all her life and spent time to tell other children about Jesus. When it was time to go to Secondary School, she chose to attend a private school. Her parents felt they could not afford the school fees, but she had faith that God would help her to excel in the entrance examination and thereby win a scholarship. Jane prepared well and also prayed, she trusted God for her success. When the entrance examination results were released, Jane was one of the three brilliant pupils who gained admission into the school and also won a scholarship. Her faith and trust in God was rewarded. Jesus wants His friends to put their trust in Him, no matter what...

HIGHER EVERYDAY SUNDAY JULY 26, 2020 MESSAGE FOR MESSENGERS

HIGHER EVERYDAY SUNDAY JULY 26, 2020 MESSAGE FOR MESSENGERS TEXT: MARK 16:15-20 MEMORY VERSE: "Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you" (JOHN 20:21). Christ died and rose again! The gateway to full salvation is now open for all men. By His death, He paid for our sins. He fulfilled the Father's will and commanded all believers to go and proclaim the full gospel of salvation by faith in Him. Ignatius of Loyola said, "Teach us to serve thee as thou deserves: To give and not count the cost; To fight and not heed the wounds; To toil and not seek for rest; To labour and not ask for any reward save that of knowing that we do thy will." Dear Christian, can you afford to be unconcerned when many unconverted youths around you are dying daily without knowing the Saviour? Can you keep quiet when many of your colleagues are given to drugs, immorality, occultism, ritual killing, and other forms of vices? Will...

DAILY MANNA SUNDAY JULY 26, 2020 A HARD TRUTH

DAILY MANNA SUNDAY JULY 26, 2020 A HARD TRUTH TEXT: JEREMIAH 27:12-22 KEY VERSE: "I spake also to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying, Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live" (JEREMIAH 27:12). Sometimes we are faced with hard truths about life. The outcome of some situations we encounter depend on the appropriateness or otherwise of our actions at such times. King Zedekiah in our text was handed a difficult prophecy by Jeremiah. The counsel of God and that of the prophet was explicit; requiring the king to surrender voluntarily to the king of Babylon like Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, had earlier done. This was the panacea to Judah and Jerusalem not to be destroyed by the Babylonian army. While Zedekiah pondered on what to do about this prophecy, the false prophets, rebellious priests and proud princes of Judah pressurised him not to listen or obey the words of Prophet...

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: SUNDAY 26TH JULY 2020. THEME: DEAL WITH THAT WEAKNESS. MEMORISE: And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. Matthew 5:29 READ: Matthew 5:28-30 28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. 29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. 30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. HIGHER EVERYDAY SATURDAY JULY 25, 2020 TOPIC: STARVATION FOR SLUGGARDS

HIGHER EVERYDAY SATURDAY JULY 25, 2020 TOPIC: STARVATION FOR SLUGGARDS TEXT:2 THESSALONIANS 3:6-15 MEMORY VERSE: "The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold; therefore shall he beg in harvest, and have nothing" (PROVERBS 20:4).     A sluggard is a person who is habitually lazy. An adage of a tribe in Nigeria says, "Only hard work will cure poverty." Many youngsters decry the general poverty and economic recession in many parts of the world.     They blame their poor state on government policies, parental backgrounds or misfortunes through magical powers of enemies. Others say they are destined by God to fail in life. Bob Jones said, "God will not do for you what He has given you strength to do." The Spirit of God counsels, "Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest" (Proverbs 6:6-8). If ants coul...

DAILY MANNA SATURDAY JULY 25, 2020 TOPIC: WARNING AGAINST IDOLATRY

DAILY MANNA SATURDAY JULY 25, 2020 TOPIC: WARNING AGAINST IDOLATRY TEXT: LEVITICUS 17:1-7 KEY VERSE: "And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for ever unto them throughout their generations" (LEVITICUS 17:7).      The worship of God must be done in spirit and in truth. It must also follow divinely established principles that are never to be violated since true worship involves reverence to God and submission to His will.On this premise, God insisted that the offering of the children of Israel must be brought and slain in an appointed place in the sanctuary, and whosoever violated this rule would face a death penalty in the Old Testament dispensation.      God's demand has not changed. He demands orderliness and compliance in church worship, service and organisation. The holy God would not want any service or worship that demeans His nature and person.     ...

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: SATURDAY 25TH JULY 2020.THEME: DANGERS OF BACKSLIDING II.

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: SATURDAY 25TH JULY 2020. THEME: DANGERS OF BACKSLIDING II. MEMORISE: And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. Luke 9:62 READ: Luke 9:59-62. 59 And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. 60 Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God. 61 And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house. 62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. MESSAGE: Backsliding is horrible. In 2 Peter 2:20-22, the Bible says it is better not to have tasted salvation than to have been saved once and then backslide. Hebrews 6:4-6 says: “For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made parta...

SINCERE MILK FRIDAY JULY 24, 2020 TOPIC: BE DILIGENT

SINCERE MILK  FRIDAY JULY 24, 2020 TOPIC: BE DILIGENT TOPIC: PROVERBS 22:29 Key Verse: "Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men" (Proverbs 22:29).      A hardworking child will make good success in life. A friend of Jesus who is diligent in his studies, will rise above all his mates in school and everywhere.       For example, a child who always does his/her school assignments, is very punctual in school and church, obedient to parents and teachers, will always excel as long as he/she accepts positive corrections.      The diligent child will continue to stand out in all he does, like Daniel. Be ready also to work for God's kingdom and let others see Jesus in all you do.      Are you a diligent or slothful child? The diligent will be successful in all he/she does while the slothful will end up being a failure. Prayer: Dear Lord, help me to ...

The Leaven

The leaven The leaven to be careful of: The leaven of the Pharisees was hypocrisy. Luke12:1 Do you know that the Pharisees wouldn't have been an hypocrite: 1. Mathew 6:5 If they had prayed in the secret of their houses(As infered from JESUS' recommendation in Mathew 6:6), and then go up into the temple, standing, praying with a loud voice, it wouldn't have been hypocrisy. It was hypocrisy because they did the loud standing prayers just to show off to men. Seeking the commendation of men, and lightly esteeming the commendation of GOD. 2. Mathew 7:3-5 If they had given attention to the beam of wood in their eyes, before giving attention to the moth in the eyes of their neighbor, it wouldn't have been hypocrisy. It was hypocrisy not because they gave attention to the moth in their brothers eye, but because they ignore the beam in their eyes and was attracted to the moth in the eyes of others. NB: If you find one of this hypocrite (who gives attention to the mo...

DAILY MANNA THURSDAY, JULY 23, 2020 TOPIC: DIVINE PROTECTION FOR THE GODLY

DAILY MANNA THURSDAY, JULY 23, 2020 TOPIC: DIVINE PROTECTION FOR THE GODLY TEXT: Jeremiah 26:1-24 KEY VERSE: “Nevertheless the hand of Ahikam the son of Shaphan was with Jeremiah, that they should not give him into the hand of the people to put him to death.” - (Jeremiah 26:24) God will definitely not be late in sending you help in time of trouble if you faithfully serve him. This exactly was the case of Prophet Jeremiah who declared the word of the Lord to the princes and people of Judah about the impending destruction and captivity awaiting Jerusalem. He hammered on the urgent need for repentance - a warning that fell on deaf ears of the noble men who plotted to eliminate the prophet. Rebellion breeds hardness of heart and God will definitely break every adamant heart, be it the heart of Pharaoh, Nebuchadnezzar, Herod or whoever! Our key verse relates a heart-warming testimony of God providing a faithful man, Ahikam, son of Shaphan who resisted the princes of Judah and en...

HIGHER EVERYDAY THURSDAY JULY 23, 2020 GEHAZI'S LEPROSY FOR GOOFING

HIGHER EVERYDAY THURSDAY JULY 23, 2020 GEHAZI'S LEPROSY FOR GOOFING TEXT: 2 KINGS 5:20-28 MEMORY VERSE: "The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cleave unto thee, and unto thy seed for ever. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow" (2 KINGS 5:27). Like Elijah and Elisha, he possibly would have become a national prophet. He had the opportunity of asking for a triple portion of Elisha's power (with God nothing is impossible and God is no respecter of persons), but, as it were, covetousness hindered him. He saw and witnessed the great national revival in the ministry of Elisha, but got leprosy instead of anointing, a curse instead of blessings! One wonders if Gehazi wore the garments or spent the talents of silver he got from Naaman. Little wonder, covetousness is idolatry. Gehazi's penchant for material things blindfolded him to the grave consequences of his craftiness. By choice, he exchanged divine favour for two talents of silver and ...

SINCERE MILK THURSDAY JULY 23, 2020 JESUS: THE NAME ABOVE ALL

SINCERE MILK THURSDAY JULY 23, 2020 JESUS: THE NAME ABOVE ALL BIBLE TEXT: PHILIPPIANS 2:9-11 KEY VERSE: "Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name" (Philippians 2:9). A girl attended her church programme (retreat) some time ago. When it was time to return home, she missed her bus and decided to go back home by herself. Unfortunately, she boarded the wrong bus and the passengers were driven into a bush and sold by the driver to some ritual killers. Her parents and other members of the church began to search for her. After a few days in the ritual killers' den, it was her turn to be killed. She remembered all that she heard at the retreat and shouted 'JESUS'. As she called this Name, the people became afraid to touch her. They sent her out of their hideout immediately. That was how she escaped being killed by evil people.  The Name of Jesus worked for her - it is a strong tower into which the righteous run...

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: THURSDAY 23RD JULY 2020. THEME: TAKE HEED. MEMORISE: Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. 1 Corinthians 10:12 READ: 1 Corinthians 10:12 1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; 2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat; 4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. 5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness. 6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. 7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. 8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in...

SINCERE MILK WEDNESDAY JULY 22, 2020 TOPIC: ENDURE TILL THE END

SINCERE MILK WEDNESDAY JULY 22, 2020 TOPIC: ENDURE TILL THE END TEXT: MATTHEW 24:11-13 Key Verse: "But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved" (Matthew 24:13).      The Lord counsels all friends of Jesus to endure to the end. The day of the Lord (Rapture) is coming nearer, the love of many friends of Jesus is decreasing, but God does not want it to be so.      The world is taking over the hearts of many through social media gadgets. A wise child will take to the counsel of the Scriptures and turn away from their negative influences.      An empty sack cannot stand upright except it is filled; so also, a child who is not filled with the word of God cannot stand in this present evil world.      Stand on the word of God always, be ready to throw away anything that will not allow you to enter heaven, fight the good fight of faith so that you can make it to the end. Prayer: Father, help me to follow Y...

HIGHER EVERYDAY WEDNESDAY JULY 22, 2020  TOPIC: DUTIFUL DEBORAH TEXT:JUDGES 4:1-14 MEMORY VERSE: "And Deborah said unto Barak, Up; for this is the day in which the LORD hath delivered Sisera into thine hand...So Barak went down from mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him" (JUDGES 4:14).      Deborah, the wife of Lapidoth, came from the tribe of Ephraim, one of the 12 tribes of Israel. She was a prophetess, yet performed legal and military responsibilities, and was the only female judge in the Old Testament. Her closeness to God was revealed in the faith and confidence with which she ministered with precision as a prophetess.      She was dauntless and brave. She willingly went with Barak to the battle of the Lord to defend her nation against Jabin, King of Canaan and his captain, with nine hundred iron chariots. God specializes in using weak but available holy vessels to fulfil his divine purpose.      Deborah was a succ...

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: WEDNESDAY 22ND JULY 2020. THEME: WORLDLY TRENDS. MEMORISE: And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2 READ: Matthew 5:14-16 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. MESSAGE: It amazes me when I see Christians trying to copy the world. It is even more shameful when we see Church leaders following worldly trends. The world is now dictating how we dress, sing and dance in the Church. It appears that a lot of people is the Church no longer follow Christ but the world. SINCERE MILK TUESDAY JULY, 21, 2020 TOPIC: HEAVEN IS REAL

SINCERE MILK TUESDAY JULY, 21, 2020  TOPIC: HEAVEN IS REAL TEXT: JOHN 14:1-3 Key Verse: "In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you" (John 14:2).      Heaven is the dwelling place of God. It is also the Throne-Room of God; a place full of God's glory. It is the home of the righteous saints and believing dead.      Heaven is the future home of all believers. It is a place whose beauty and glory is beyond human description and comprehension. It is a place of continuous worship of God in the beauty of His holiness.      The book of REVELATION describes heaven as the 'New Jerusalem'. It is a place without power failure, no pain, no crying, no sorrow and no death. No sinner will enter in there.     Repentance from sin and salvation through Jesus Christ is the qualification to enter heaven. Repent from your sinful ways, accept Christ now so that you ca...

HIGHER EVERYDAY TUESDAY JULY 21, 2020 TOPIC: MESSAGE FROM THE MAID

HIGHER EVERYDAY TUESDAY JULY 21, 2020 TOPIC: MESSAGE FROM THE MAID TEXT:2 KINGS 5:1-10 MEMORY VERSE: "And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy" (2 KINGS 5:3).     Many people bemoan their low estate and consider it the reason why they cannot be productively engaged in the service of God. The captive slave girl in our text is a great challenge to such people. Though a captive, she had deep concern for her great but leprous master. His pathetic condition despite his greatness gave her great concern.      Though a slave in a foreign land, she never forgot her God and His great power bestowed on Prophet Elisha. She knew without any iota of doubt that her God has the power to cure Naaman of his leprosy. Her message was very clear and indeed the key to Naaman's healing and salvation. Beloved, what effort are you making towards recovering many spiritually and physical...

DAILY MANNA TUESDAY JULY 21, 2020 TOPIC: JUDGMENT ON THE NATIONS

DAILY MANNA TUESDAY JULY 21, 2020 TOPIC: JUDGMENT ON THE NATIONS TEXT:JEREMIAH 25:30-38 KEY VERSE: "A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the LORD" (JEREMIAH 25:31).      God's justice demands that the righteous be protected, preserved and prosperous, while rebellious sinners are reserved for judgment and punishment. Right from the antediluvian age till date, God has always purged the earth of sin and wickedness. The confusion of the language of the builders of the Tower of Babel and the deluge in the days of Noah, are all examples of divine judgment on rebellious people.      Our text today reveals that the cup of wine of fury of the Lord was to be poured out on many nations on earth starting from Jerusalem. Justice demands that judgment starts from the house of God. The righteous God will judge all people starti...

DAILY MANNA MONDAY JULY 20, 2020 TOPIC: DON'T ROB THE POOR! TEXT: PROVERBS 22:16-29 KEY VERSE: "Rob not the poor, because he is poor: neither oppress the afflicted in the gate" (PROVERBS 22:22).      God, our Creator, has given severe warning to the rich and influential to desist from robbing the poor and oppressing the afflicted and downtrodden.      The plight of man is to exploit the weak, poor and ignorant folks around him and reduce them to puppets, serving only his interest. The strong and mighty in almost all human societies have often violated the rights and reduced the privileges of those who cannot challenge them.      The result of this unjust treatment is attendant upheavals such as strife, agitations, protests, conflicts and wars which have become common occurrences around the globe today.      Social injustice is the root cause of many catastrophes known in human history. Its spiritual effect is more d...

The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. 21 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die. 22 All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live. 23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live? 24 But when the righteous turneth aw...

SINCERE MILK MONDAY JULY 20, 2020 TOPIC: BE GRATEFUL

SINCERE MILK MONDAY JULY 20, 2020 TOPIC: BE GRATEFUL TEXT: LUKE 17:11-18 Key Verse: "And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us" (Luke 17:13).      To be grateful, (show gratitude), is an attitude of being appreciative of the care, love and kindness received from others.
