JESUS: THE NAME ABOVE ALL

BIBLE TEXT: PHILIPPIANS 2:9-11

KEY VERSE: "Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name" (Philippians 2:9).

A girl attended her church programme (retreat) some time ago. When it was time to return home, she missed her bus and decided to go back home by herself. Unfortunately, she boarded the wrong bus and the passengers were driven into a bush and sold by the driver to some ritual killers. Her parents and other members of the church began to search for her. After a few days in the ritual killers' den, it was her turn to be killed. She remembered all that she heard at the retreat and shouted 'JESUS'. As she called this Name, the people became afraid to touch her. They sent her out of their hideout immediately. That was how she escaped being killed by evil people. 

The Name of Jesus worked for her - it is a strong tower into which the righteous runs and is safe. Trust in this wonderful Name today for your salvation and preservation.

PRAYER: I am set free from every evil in Jesus Name. Amen!
