The leaven

The leaven to be careful of:

The leaven of the Pharisees was hypocrisy. Luke12:1

Do you know that the Pharisees wouldn't have been an hypocrite:

1. Mathew 6:5

If they had prayed in the secret of their houses(As infered from JESUS' recommendation in Mathew 6:6), and then go up into the temple, standing, praying with a loud voice, it wouldn't have been hypocrisy. It was hypocrisy because they did the loud standing prayers just to show off to men. Seeking the commendation of men, and lightly esteeming the commendation of GOD.

2. Mathew 7:3-5

If they had given attention to the beam of wood in their eyes, before giving attention to the moth in the eyes of their neighbor, it wouldn't have been hypocrisy. It was hypocrisy not because they gave attention to the moth in their brothers eye, but because they ignore the beam in their eyes and was attracted to the moth in the eyes of others.

NB: If you find one of this hypocrite (who gives attention to the moth in your eyes, and ignore the beam in their eyes), it's you duty to adhere to them, inspite their hypocrisy, and give attention to the moth, thereby ensuring that the moth be removed.

3. Mathew 6:16

If they had make their face straight, smooth, shining and normal, and no man has any prove to hold unto, that they are fasting, they wouldn't have been hypocrites(as infered from the recommendation of JESUS Mathew6:17-18). But, because they disfigured their faces, so it can be obvious to everyone that sees them, that they are fasting.

4. Luke 12:56

 If they were able to discern the weather(if rain will fall, if sun will shine or snow will fall, or the cold season, or the hot season) and also discern the things of the kingdom of GOD, they wouldn't have been a hypocrite. But, because they could only discern weather.

5. Luke 13:15

If they had not led their ox and ass on the Sabbath day away to watering, they wouldn't have been tagged hypocrite. JESUS would have just seen them as someone who lack understanding. And HE would have just educated them on the matter. But, because they had led to watering their ox and ass on the Sabbath day, then JESUS perceived that they were not people ready to learn. The Pharisees were unteachable(one of their leaven), because they were all knowing in their conceit. 

The leaven to engage 

Luke 13:21

It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

This kind of leaven is one that can fist influence one who finds it, and then in the long run influence others.

One practical example of this in the Bible is in John 4:7-29

The woman in this narrative found the gift of GOD on a platter of gold. And after hert encounter with that gift(which is the leaven she found) and the words from the GIFT, it influenced are positively until in the long run, it influenced her neighbors

In Conclusion, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and engage the leaven that can influence first yourself positively, and in the long run others..
